Gibson, TU-2, Ukulele, c.1952
$1,500.00
The Gibson body style of this period is very similar to that of a Martin ukulele, made with solid mahogany top, back & sides. The top & back have 3-ply white/black/white bindings, and the rosewood bridge with cream colored pins. The neck has a rosewood fingerboard with 12 frets to the body and 18 frets total, with a 17″scale. The lower bout of the body measures 9-1/8″. Terrific original black hard case with green lining. Completely original, with no issues or repairs, just excellent condition. A special bonus – there is an ink stamp inside the back that reads: HAPPY JACK.
