Tuned one step below a mandolin, this octave mandolin has the a body more like that of a mandola (12″ wide). It’s acomfortable instrument with a rich, full sound . The top is made from carved solid spruce and sports an adjustable ebony bridge, and the back and sides are carved from solid maple. The neck has a radiused (12″ radius) ebony fingerboard with a 1-3/8″ nut, 21″ scale, and adjustable truss rod. A nice sturdy gig bag is included so that you can walk to the park, find a spot under a tree and amuse yourself for an afternoon.
