A very nice and hard to find Weymann mandola with a full body and nice meaty rounded neck. The bowl is made with 17 rosewood staves and a clasp. The neck is mahogany. The top has cream colored binding and a nice colorful marquetry border. The dinferboard is ebony with modest dot inlays. This is not far from being playable. There are two open seams in the back and a short open seam at the top edge. The bridge, saddle and nut are swimming around inside the body. Lower bout 9-1/4″, scale 16-1/2″. No case.
