Dobro, Style No.27, Guitar, 1937
The back and side of the body are finished in black with a sunburst top, with white bindings at the top & back. The12-fret neck has a rosewood fingerboard and white binding with a solid headstock. This guitar began its life as a square neck now somewhat inexpertly cut down to a round neck. It plays well, but the neck is quite pulled-up at joint and really could use a neck reset to play Spanish style (or, at least, cut down the saddle). Perhaps better for slide-and still has a wooden plate on the headstock for a nut riser to sit on. Nut is 1-3/4″ and scale is 24.9″
