Gibson, L-0, Guitar, 1931
This is a very deep sounding, resonant, chimey L-0. The top, back, & sides are made of solid mahogany with white celluloid top & back binding. The 12-fret mahogany neck has a rounded profile with a rosewood fingerboard, and the Gibson logo in white silk-screen on the black peghead overlay. Nut width is 1-3/4″, scale length is 24-3/4″. Width of lower bout: 14-3/4″. Original thin frets are in good condition and the neck angle is set for low action. In the lower treble bout there is a 3″filled crack near edge, two repaired hairline cracks from the bridge to the lower binding, and a repaired treble rib crack (the detail makes it sounds worse than it is…they?re all repaired and stable, and not unsightly). New hard case.
