Gibson, HG-00, Guitar, 1936
Gibson HGs were originally made to be played Hawaiian style, this guitar has been converted by Brothers Music to standard Spanish playing style with a neck reset, appropriate fret dressing, and a new bone nut & saddle. The guitar has a dark sunburst finish on the top. The body is the 12-fret L-00 size. The V-shaped mahogany neck has a rosewood fingerboard with 12-frets to the body. The peghead has the white silkscreen Gibson script logo, and 3-in-line wavy-ended brass plate tuners with ivoroid buttons. There are 2 repaired hairline cracks in the back, but no top cracks. Overall its in very good plus condition. A newer hard case is included. Nut width: full-feeling 1-7/8″, scale length: 24-3/4″; bridge string spacing: 2-5/8″; lower bout width: 14-3/4″
