From the collection of Stefan Grossman, reknowned American acoustic fingerstyle guitarist, music producer, co-founder of Kicking Mule records, and widely known for his instructional videos; This is a custom made Franklin guitar with a rounded cutaway, with a particularly vibrant and two-piece flamey koa back with narrow curl and matching side wood. It has a koa center strip and grained ivoroid bindings. The mahogany neck has 14 frets clear to the body and 21 total, an ebony fingerboard with incised pearl squares. The spruce top has herringbone trim and is X-braced with an OM-style pickguard. It has a pickup and there are 3 rounded koa controls on the upper bass shoulder. It is in excellent condition with an original hard case; Length of back: 19-15/16″, lower bout: 16-7/8″, middle bout: 10-1/4″, upper bout: 12-5/8″, scale length: 25.4″, nut width: 1-13/16″; makers date of manufacture: 4-15-1990
