Louis Panormo, Guitar, 1827, London
A Guitar by Louis Panormo in the Spanish style; labeled: 893/ Panormo Fecit / Anno 1827 London. / 26 High Street Bloomsbury. The top is spruce with straight braces above and below the soundhole, and seven very thin fan braces in the lower bout, without a bridge plate and with an ebony pin bridge. The back is solid Brazilian rosewood. The mahogany neck has a short volute for the slotted maple head, and the fingerboard is slightly radiused with 12 frets to the body and 18 overall. In good condition overall with a few glued top cracks and a group of long glued back cracks. No case included.
