This full throated Gibson banjo-mandolin has a 10-1/2″ pot with a 5-ply 13/16″ thick maple rim with a beveled top edge and tubular tone-ring, 22 brackets, a single coordinator, armrest, and nifty gold sparkle pickguard. It has a modern Remo plastic head. Records suggest that this was intended to be built as a style 1, but it has the appointments of a style 2. The dark stained maple neck has an ebony fingerboard with 12 frets to the rim and 15 overall, with pearl dot inlays, and the scale length is 14″ In very original and excellent overall condition with the original blue-lined hard case.
