We love cello banjos. Their deep voice is hypnotic. This is a rare and wonderful Gibson CB-4, but it does need some work. The action is high, and the base of the heel needs some gluing to get everything in order (loose heel-cap). The 14″ hollow rim is of maple with an ebonized rim cap, celluloid bindings, and 32 brackets. It has a sunburst finish on the neck.and the original celluloid pickguard. The scale is 24-3/4″, and it has a nice original case.
