MARTIN, 0-18, late 1922, Adirondack srpuce top, mahogany back and sides, 24.9" scale, 12-fret body style with slotted-head, made with no pickguard, nut width is a hair shy of 1-7/8", original bar frets, ebony pyramid bridge, a long repaired crack around the center of the lower bass side - very slightly uneven in one area but not unsightly and quite secure, it has had an older good neck reset & plays well with standard light gauge strings, overall original, very good plus condition, new hard case, very light and responsive, (Our #28678) $4,250.

MARTIN, 0-21, 1947, 12-fret neck with slotted-head, ebony fingerboard & bridge, Brazilian rosewood back & sides, herringbone center back-strip, good reproduction tuners from Willi Henkes, otherwise original, neck reset & fretwork by Strunk, some capo wear on lower peghead, overall excellent condition, new hard case, a very rare 12-fret slotted-head 0-21 (apparently there were 48 made that year, though strangely we've never seen one), (Our #29568) $7,000.

17. MARTIN, Claire’s Guitar, 2005, A very special Size 5 (Terz), Style 40 guitar, issued to celebrate the birthday of Claire Frances Martin. This is Limited Edition #11 of 100 from the first batch of this model. The back and sides are of select Brazilian rosewood. The SItka top has natural gloss finish. The 12-fret mahogany neck has a 1-11/16" nut (scale is 21.4"), gold-plated Waverly tuners with grained ivoroid buttons, ebony fingerboard with 18 frets, with custom fingerboard and headstock inlays. MARTIN, D12-28 12-String, 1998, Indian rosewood back & sides (very Brazilian-looking Indian), 14-fret neck, 1-7/8"nut width, replacement Martin black pickguard, 4-1/2" repaired hairline crack in the lower treble bout of the top extending from the binding, otherwise neaar mint condition & really looks unused, original hard case, , (Our #32053) $1,500.
20. MARTIN, D-18, 1941, spruce top, mahogany back and sides, 25.4" scale, the neck with good older refinish & refret, ebony fingerboard, new ebony bridge of correct style but very slightly larger (about 1/16" oversize), recent neck reset & refret by Dave Strunk, top finish has been oversprayed & is now looking a bit dull, original pickguard beautifully inscribed in script "Ozark Glenn", new hard case, very fine sounding for both fingerpicking & flatpicking, , (Our #28333) $14,500.

MARTIN, D-18, 1948, standard period D-18, nice dark sitka top with no cracks, mahogany back and sides, 25.4" scale, completely original, 4"hairline crack upwards from lower back binding, very small & nicely done semi-cicular patch to upper bass side (about the sidze of 1/2 a quarter), some capo scars on back of neck, some pickwear around treble edge of soundhole, good original frets have been dressed, uncut bridge, neck reset by Dave Strunk, overall original & in very good plus condition, later hard case, an early-'48 D-18 (103468 is the last number 1947), with the dark brown earlier color pickguard; lightweight & responsive, (Our #30463) $9,000.
